Our Story
Founded in 2001, Fentro Technologies has grown from a small operation of just three employees to an industry leader with a team of over 35 dedicated professionals in Morden, Manitoba. With over two decades of experience, we’ve made our mark by bridging the gap between European innovation and North American manufacturing, delivering top-tier Tilt and Turn window and door solutions to fabricators across the continent.
Our journey began with a mission to bring European-style windows and doors to North America, where sourcing the necessary components was a significant challenge. We recognized the increasing demand for high-performance windows and doors in North America and positioned ourselves as a crucial intermediary. By streamlining the supply of profiles, hardware, and accessories, we alleviated challenges such as extended material lead times, high logistical costs, and the complexity of managing European suppliers, thereby enhancing the capabilities of local manufacturers.
Additionally, Fentro recognized the challenges manufacturers face in efficiently producing lower volume doors such as Lift & Slide doors. By providing unglazed Lift and Slide doors in custom sizes and colours, we help manufacturers easily expand their product portfolios while maintaining both efficiency and quality. We focus on continuous improvement in production to deliver a cost-effective, high-quality solution that meets North American standards.
In 2020, the rising demand for coloured windows and doors led us to introduce a profile lamination service that significantly reduces lead times for manufacturers and supports the ever-growing need for high quality color options.
